I would have to disagree when talking about ethnic Jews, they are often very white or pale skinned, and if they don’t have an obvious nose, then you would never know they were Jewish unless they said it or were wearing something that implied it. The same cannot be said for Indonesians. Dark Indonesians don’t really have the certain tonage that blacks do, and their eyes make it obvious. Culturally I would say Jews and whites are quite similar, both follow Abrahamic religions, ashkenazi Jews spoke Yiddish, which is a west Germanic language, Sephardic is Spain in Hebrew, and as such, they often spoke Spanish. Many European dishes were by Jews, bagels, blintz, latkes. Scientists like Einstein, John von Neumann, and Sigmund Freud. Modern Israel is a democracy with a western style military and a populace that eats up westernc culture as much as the westerners themselves. Jews have made up a significant part of the culture, technology, and history, of whites, so at that point I just consider them white. But I understand and respect your opinion, and understand if you disagree.
