I try my hand at them using Davinci Resolve Studio. To varying degrees of success. The color qualifier & grading tools they have are very powerful, albeit convoluted & finicky.
How are ppl doing skin editing for animations? Frame by frame or is there an easier way I haven't heard of?
Editor here. I used Premiere (never EVER give Adobe your money) and its Lumetri Color feature. Since Peach's shadow skin tone sometimes overlaps with the guys lit skin tone, masking is necessary. I animated the masks by keyframing. Only in the most complicated movements I had to go frame-by-frame. This is much easier in animations where the fucking frame doesn't move/zoom in/out.
