tag guidelines issue

Posted under Tags

Dear reader

hi, im an editor of this ite and in my tagging process I have found an inmense issue easily solvable by other users or staff.

The problem in question is not directly about the tag choosing but ragther tag making, specificly the ones that are not "general" tags. like franchises, characters, meta info, etc...
When one of the previously mentioned does not exist yet, I ( and im sure a lot more users too) don't know how to make it a "characters" type of tag.

I am fully conscious that the funcion does exist but the problem comes with researching it.

To simplify, the issue is that the "tag guidelines" wiki is empty and we, the uploaders/editors do not know how to create new tags

An example of this can be seen in this edit: post #72314, in witch the uploader(@Spain_Chan) could not put the tag "francoist_spain_(countryhumans)" as a characters thag

Does anybody know how this works so i can fill the wki?, or could someone make the wiki page?

with pleasure

You can change the category of the tag by prefixing it with artist:, character:, copyright:, meta:, or general: when tagging a post. For example, tagging a post with artist:sakura would change the sakura tag to an artist tag.

art:, char:, copy: are shortcuts for these prefixes.
