Red tattoos gradually being abandoned?

Posted under General

The red tattoos is what differentiated Bleached from b*-ACKed at a quick first glance. I understand that it's harder to get contrast with red tattoos, but that's easily solved by simply making the shade of red closer to crimson, or adding a slight outline to the tattoo, or adding a subtle glow to the tattoo, or all of those at the same time. It takes just a few more seconds to do these things in the image editor of your choice, and drastically increases the quality of the end product.

A lot of the tattoos used in bleachbooru content aren't actually "bleached/QoH", they're general White Supremacy tattoos. I'm sure some of the artists just prefer their swastikas in black over red.

Swastikas were always in black. I'm talking about the tattoos that were formerly in red, and formerly owned by Chuck.

some people prefer traditional white supremacy logos as a editing choice, as some may think qoh does not have that extreme level to it

How do I make the mascots take up more screen space so the text is eligible on my browser? And is it possible to change the bar censor color back to red? I'm on 1080p and it's surprisingly hard to read when the letters are 2 to 3 pixels wide.

Yes, and also black tattoos just look better on white skin cause of the contrast. same reason why pale goth girls with black hair and clothing look hot

At least 8 out of 10 qoh edits are still red tattoos, the rest sometimes have other colors if it fits the theme, so I don't know what you mean. Unless you mean WWO edits where any other color than black would look kinda dumb.

I misremembered crucial details because it made more sense in my brain

I haven’t noticed a change. I think the issue is it’s harder to make those tattoos stand out on brown/black girls, and that usually black tattoo ink is the strongest. I personally use a darker shade of red for tattoos on my models, usually that makes them stand out more.

Also, as other posters pointed out, sometimes it’s easier to just use standard white supremacy symbols. Not many people know what a QoH is, at least not as many as QoS, but everyone knows what a swastika is and what it means.

No, they are not. Red tattoos are still the bleached standard. Editors only use black tattoos in miller edits. Colorful tattoos are designed to suit a character or theme. My last edit of New Jersey, for example, had multicolored tattoos with the colors of the United States flag.

If you're concerned, then start using red tattoos on your edits
Be the change you want to see in the world
