why's there an 140 second upload limit

even when it doesnt surpass the 100 mb limit it still doesnt work, i saw a video uploaded by yomihara that was past 3 minute, so why the imposed limit?

This seems reasonable

Uploading anything over 140 seconds will have to be done by an administrator, just send them the video you want to post.

is it possible we can get a thread to request mods to upload longer videos? i saw one on danbooru and it gets a lot of use out of it, would depend on the board though
