General "learning to make OC" thread

Posted under General

I see a lot of bleachbooru users in the comments or on the forums that seem interested in creating OC for this fetish. So why don't we make a general thread where we can ask for help, share progress and learn a valuable skill! Not to mention the prospect of having more creators making bleached content.

Creators are also welcome to share their experiences and to offer guidance!

For established creators:
1. What is your medium? (drawing, 3d modeling software, writing, image editing etc)
2. How long many years have you been doing it?
3. What made you want to start creating bleached content?
4. additonal advice you want to share.
5. Do you have anything you wish to improve that you want guidance on yourself?

For aspiring creators:
1. what medium do you want to learn?
2. What is your starting point?
3. why do you want to start creating content?
4. do you have any questions for the creators here?
5. (Optional) Do you have something you dreamt of creating but never had the skills to make? if so share what it is (does not have to necessarily be about bleached)

If this thread takes off we can use it to share our daily progress. If we do work and possibly even share stuff for critique! We are all passionate about this fetish so let's try out best to make good content for it!

Updated

Let me kick things off to start!

I am a aspiring creator.
1. I want to learn to make photoshop edits, writing but more importantly I really want to learn to draw.
2. I used to draw a lot as a kid but dropped it right as I was about to graduate from "bad" to "decent". I have tried picking it up again over the years but I always end up stopping myself. I have made a few image edits of varying quality
3. I want to fill in some gaps as I think there is a severe lack of more "wholesome" stuff on here.
4. My two biggest questions for established creators are: If you had to start over, what would you focus on learning first? and what is the biggest piece of sage advice that you have learned about creating/ the creation process? (or just the first piece of advice to pop in your head if you can't decide)
5. I remember writing a whole manuscript for a hentai comic from start to finish. It would be nice to make it a reality one day.

Aspiring creator (though I'll never publish it on mainstream sites, if anything: Possibly blogs or something like that)
1. Draw and write stories. I had a habit of such back then but my motivation for it is completely gone plus my art skills are reminiscent to what some middle or high schooler would draw. And my writing skills are that of some amateur fanfic writer who's didn't go past middle/high school English. Koikatsu because with picrew: It didn't do much and lack of quality control there and dumb slap fights plus I want to make characters for bleached and worksafe purposes.
2. Starting point was when I was a kid, I used to draw a lot as a kid and during middle school, to an extent high school but I gave up entirely because of lack of motivation. Writing was when I was in elementary school and middle school.
3. Because I want to be a better man and make my own content, there's some content that seems to be lacking such as ethnic BBWs getting fucked by white men, White Male/Hispanic Male (bonus if there's that ICEplay with white ICE agent dominating some illegal dude and because I rarely see any whitewashed Hispanic dudes, not dudes who think they're white but dudes who just like interests associated with white people such as rock and whatnot)
(There's an account where it's a white guy posting AI art of white men dominating ethnic men and one stood out was some image of white US soldier/ICE agent with a Mexican guy wearing an america shirt on his knees with some racist caption on top), wholesome etc. Also more white on white and anime/cartoon girls in nazi/racist uniforms/tattoos, especially girls from obscure media.
Koikatu has a problem with stuff I will not repeat and it would be cool if we got more original content. I could go on about this but TLDR; I want to make original ideas and stuff I don't see in bleached spaces very often. Also because I need to use my creative bone too.
4. How does one begin drawing? Any useful tips? Where to find good sources for drawing? Any beginner friendly resources? How to draw digitally when you have limited resources such as a phone (Specs: 4GBs of RAM, 64GB+128GB storage) and computer (Specs: I think 300GB+128GB storage with 8GB of RAM) but no drawing tablet. If neither are good enough, I don't mind traditionally because I have access to paper, supplies are a different story.
5. Plenty, most are not bleached related but theyre mostly worksafe, I wrote a few stories back in elementary school to high school but I never finished them due to the stuff I use being lost or broken and I lost interest.
