But I don't think the universal beauty standard has been white skin, blue eyes, blonde hair until only recently really and in very specific niches. Truly around the world, every culture has its own specific standards, yes even if they idolize paleness and other 'Eurocentric' traits. A true universal beauty standard would things like:
- youth (to a point, not literal children)
- symmetry
- health and vigor (as in lean and appropriately muscular)
- positive personality traits

these are just those that apply equally for all people, races, sexes, cultures.
