That's exactly what they're talking about which is actually a more direct conversion than just arguments or rhetoric.

"You should convert your spouse" yeah.. no.. it's not the same thing.
1) spouse 1 is such a good person that via their good deeds the 2nd spouse will want to get closer to God (direct conversion, it's their choice)
2) the believing flesh becomes one with a unbelieving flesh (marriage) thus making the unbelieving flesh holy/likewise to that of a believer. (Indirect conversion)

I mean isn't that the difference between protestants and Catholics? Protestants just use scripture where Catholics have other rules from the institution, too.

Protestants use a frankly, weird version of scripture since a good bunch of the bible has been removed. Those "rules from the institution" are actually just laws and rules that appear in the bible but are explained and given to us by the pope. Taking holy communion during Easter, fasting at lent etc. Are all apparent in the bible as sacraments and overall commands

Dont look too deep into the Scofield and descending translations. Summary is moving away from the original Koine and later, faithful Latin bibles was a mistake.

Pedadgoguey and practice are frankly as public education as you can get.

Other than some unrelated esoteric texts like the book of Enoch, what exactly does the protestant bible remove? ESV and similar translations of the bible exist which are the most literal accurate.
