Anyone else here into TTRPG's?

I've done D&D both in person & over discord ( Voice chat ) - I do like it from what i've played though i do prefer 4E ( It's just the most video-gamey IMO ) but it is really a gamble on what kind of party you get , Sometimes you get a really sociable party you vibe with well both in & out of character whereas other times the party is either super introverted and hard to talk to or worst of the three *really fucking annoying* - like for as much as i vibe with my current party they are a bunch of LGBT snowflakes that can be hard to deal with at times ( I'd give details but i'd be here all day listing things they do that gets under my skin )

As for other table top games unless card games count I don't really play any - I feel like a lot of them are just made obsolete by digitalisation & stratergy games, like why would i ever play the tabletop version of warhammer when i can just boot up X-COM or EU4

Yea that's more of what i was asking. So if you use a spell that requires to roll higher than their AC, the bonus is from your wisdom? Cause in the game is uses strength or dex like weapon attacks which i found wierd for spellcasters. Also in the game the spells that require them to ropl a save to the spell dc, the DC is based off the spell lvl not your class level like in DnD

Yes the bonus comes from wisdom, thats for clerics other spell casters such as bard use charisma whilst witches use intelligence. As for save DC, it isnt based off the spell level its based off of your class level, for example to make a successful save against my clerics sudden blight you have to roll higher then a 21, this is because the base of the DC is 10 then my class level of 5 is added onto it making it 15, my wisdom bonus of +4 is added onto that to make it 19 and then +2 for being trained makes that into 21

Also just realised now that ive said how this works its also how my spell attack is calculated, 5 from cleric level, 2 from trained and 4 from wisdom

Ok, yea this is similar to the dnd system. idk why the video game changed it from that then tbh, since that system makes way more sense. In the video game, spell clases like wizards and witches are the least accurate at casting spells that roll against AC because of how it scales, which is kinda dumb and took away from how cool the spells were. It's still viable, but as a person who likes to minmax it always felt wrong as i was nerfing myself to play those classes.

Oh nice! Im primarily into DnD but I’ve been trying new stuff as well. WH40K though… Lots of fun Bleached stuff you can do with that setting haha~

Wh40ks fun to play just very expensive so I just do the figures since some asses in the games space will break the figures I tend to just collect

> Master friend tells me about a western style game in a high fantasy world with D&D 5E.
> Create a white, blonde, grey-eyed Bard/Thief.
> Create a mysterious blue fairy companion of uncertain origins to give it mystery.
> Due to story issues the fairy ends up being a soul of a deceased woman who instead of following the soul cycle of that world remained as a fairy-like spirit.
> 4 months later the campaign ends.

> Second campaign of the same Master in the same world.
> My new character is that woman who has been resurrected by things related to the new campaign. She has vague memories of her life as a fairy.
> The area she is from is based on Asia.
> The woman is a hot asian woman stacked as fuck.

> Reunion with the white character who was her companion.
> All the players and the Master think it makes sense that they form a relationship.
> And that, my friends, is how WMAF is done.
