WMAF couples in anime

Opposite to real life where WMAF are way more common than AMWF both in the west and in Japan
WMAF couples in anime are extremely rare, I mean it's understandable, most anime/manga are directed at a japanese male audience and that's precicely why the opposite AMWF couples are so common in anime
Mixed children born to these type of couples are way common though but not the couples that produced those children
Only two examples come to my mind: Alphonse and Mei from Fullmetal Alchemist and Alexander and Mafuyu from Seikon no Qwaser, I'm sure I've seen a couple more but those are the ones I can remember right now

As people in other areas pointed out, anime characters tend to look whiteish with their features despite being japanese, so idk if it makes much difference.

Yes of course many anime characters look white despite being japanese and that's why, even an anime with a AMWF couple can still be popular among right wingers, because it doesn't feel like a mixed couple, characters like Shinji from Evangelion, Kazuma from KonoSuba or Emiya from Fate are depicted with european features like brown or red hair and light eyes and that's why they don't see it as a problem if they date white women

Bro you're overthinking it. The thing is rigged from the start as 95% of anime women are drawn to be white, same thing with anime men that aren't npc. Guessing who is Japanese or not is a headache, that's one of the reasons we use the tattoos and captions

But with that said, I have one couple in mind that set China on fire: Daiyan with Raymond in Girl's Frontline 2. Although it's a game, it's the sequel to GFL 1 where you're Daiyan's commander and potential lover for players who decided to marry her.
But in the sequel, 10 years later after you left, she has cucked you for Raymond. Daiyan is pretty much THE main chinese girl in this chinese game and the fact that she has cucked the self-insert MC for a white guy is probably too much for comfort for the chinese players. There was a lot of juicy drama back then.
The memes still carry on today, because the global version of GFL2 has launched and Daiyan just came out this week. People call her Ms Raymond lmao. I'm almost tempted to pull for her just to see if I'll get her early because I'm white, that would be hilarious

Well that's funny but the reaction of the chinese players is understandable
Although in videogames WMAF have some better representation like Leon and Ada from Resident Evil, Andy and Mai from KOF and you could say that even Cloud and Tifa count as one because Tifa desing became very "asianized" for the Remake compared to her desing im Dissidia, we know her dad is White though so she's more likely wasian

Seeing Chinese players melt down over Mr. Raymond is hilarious but it really wasn't in a relationship with him. In the original event story it's heavily implied that she is just helping him leave the life he lived & find normalcy in a Green Zone.
