Deleted Post - More Context on poor quality

Posted under General

Hi there,

Made an edit I worked on for a while, thought I did a pretty good job with mesh transform, opacity adjustment, skin changes, etc.
Really I'm just looking for someone to tell me in more than three words why a deleted post of mine was poor quality, low quality QC.
I can't really adjust my selection of art without understanding why it wasn't working, so can someone tell me, pretty please?

Some of the tattoos are not super well warped (looking particularly at the BWC collarbone tattoo) and there's no transparency/blending. You could use layer modes to improve that, but personally I think the editing is adequate, if improvable (other approvers might disagree). I personally would have disapproved the image just because I think the art sucks. Will speak to the mods about improving communication on QC deletions and making clear when posts are deleted for low quality art versus low quality editing.

I appreciate the explanation and will try to keep those things in mind when making edits on the next image.
Unfortunately I don't have an eye to tell these things, when I think it looks 'good' and really rely on feedback to let me know when things aren't working.
I'll try to stay away from the art in the future and go for other styles.

Thank you.
