I’ve always wondered something about Homestuck porn. The trolls and kids are, well, kids in canon (with the alpha kids starting out around 13 and ending up at 16, with the surviving trolls also being true), but they’re almost always depicted as adults, or at least ageless beings who are more teen/young adults than kids. Not saying that people should draw them as kids, but it fascinates me that this is one of the few fandom where that holds true, when in almost every other one the characters are usually more visibly aged up when they’re supposed to be adults, or at least given the “exact same design but stretched out”, which I supposed to be the same here but idk I just wanted to tap about something because my gf is currently at work and I have some time to kill.

ok, first of all: beta kids start at 13 and end at 16 same goes for all the surviving beta trolls. Meanwhile the alpha kids start at 16 and end almost at 18 iirc, the alpha trolls (dancestors) died at 16 and thus are stuck in those teen bodies despite spending possibly eons in the dream bubbles.

second of all: yeah since age works weirdly in homestuck due to characters dying at 16 for example and coming back from the dead as a god, some choose to just draw them basically the same.

third of all: in this artist particularly, they're just a freak rofl. tennoh has a very hard shota/loli kink that sometimes spikes too out of hand bcs of spite so some future works of him here will be toned down by me (be that by removing and replacing dialog or removing certain elements, though i will be saying when that happens and people can just dm me for the og version of the pic since ik curiosity can kill the cat)

Yeah, I’m also one (who could forget Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido, the guys made for one Homestuck album that barely has anything to do with Homestuck?) , and yeah, the plot makes zero sense once you think about it (I still think sacrificial slabs are bullshit and were only made so Rose could go godtier)
