lanolin the sheep (sonic)

Lanolin the Sheep is an anthropomorphic sheep character appearing in the Sonic the Hedgehog comics published by IDW. She first appeared in issue #2 as an unnamed extra character, but continued to appear in cameo roles throughout later issues as a signature character of artist Adam Bryce Thomas. She is known to have helped with the Restoration's reconstruction efforts following the events of Sonic Forces.

Lanolin would be elevated to the status of protagonist and formally introduced in issue #57, where she participates in the Restoration's raid on Dr. Eggman's capital city. She is a member of the newly reformed Diamond Cutters team alongside Whisper, Tangle, and Sonic. A Magenta Wisp named Maggie inhabits the cowbell on her neck, enabling her to use sound-based attacks.
