And neither do...the vast majority of characters draw, people always amp up tits and ass, the original drawing that spawned her was the same way, she's just as pasty milk white as always. Brazilians can get tanlines too. Also, Brazilians can get pretty light-skinned depending on their ancestry and their location (such as Japanese Brazilians, wink wink). They aren't all brown-skinned mulattoes.

I am aware, but the character is still Hatsune Miku, who is japanese (even if they're an asian person from brazil, we'd still call them asian, theres not a drop of brazilian blood in them). It's not lack of imagination or whimsy, it's simply preferring to set the record for what the character actually is (Some people prefer asians to darker skinned people). Some people might not care, which is fair enough. But and of the day, just pointing out what the origin of it was because I have a little bit of a tism for demonstrably incorrect things with regards to characters origins.

I tried being respectful when pointing it out, so why make personal jabs? Especially when you're supposed to be a moderator.

I think that, at least at this point, Brazilian Miku is her own character. Especially after she blew up and people started making other versions of Miku for their own countries. I thought that was a really neat way to show off your country's culture and I liked it. That's why I'm so adamant that she's Japanese-Brazilian and shit. Because her just being "Hatsune Miku with a tan and a Brazil shirt" is just kinda boring to me and goes against the spirit of the "Worldwide Miku".

As for the "technical manual" part, yeah ngl that was out of pocket. I was in a bit of a morning haze when I wrote that and I thought it was clever. I apologize.

I can understand that, and it's fine to have headcanons and personal takes of characters. But it's also important to always separate headcanon and what one wishes a character was, from what it really is. Otherwise, things like this happen.
