Eyes color thread

Posted under General

For 22 years i thought my eyes were just blue, but i just found out that they are grey with central green heterchromia, got them called blue for all of my life, but they seem to change color under light, mood and clothes i wear, so, tell me your eyes color and have a nice chat about it, can't wait to hear from you ☺️♥️

I have mixed eyes like green with brown but my eyes are slightly different from each other. My left eye lean more towards brown while right one seems to be rather green. I thought my entire life I have like brown eyes and it's just easier to say I have brown than write all of this.

Mine is in the weird spot of having eyes that I have seen described as blue, green, grey, and so I generally just say grey since that’s what’s on my driver’s license

My granfater on father side have grey eyes, his wife (my grandmother) green their son (my father) grey, my mother brown, me grey so I think grey eyes have more dominant gene than others eyes colors, but despite the fact that my father and I have the same eye color, his color is much more saturated, I would even call them not gray or white, but like marble, a very pure color is immediately noticeable, you don’t need to look closely like with me, my eyes color can seems green or blue which is not so bad, but I would really like them to be like my father's. It’s surprising how many gray-eyed people have gathered in this thread, considering that there are about 3 percent of gray-eyed people in the world. As far as I know, the largest number of gray-eyed people live in eastern and northern Europe, especially in Russia, Finland and Estonia.

Tbh it depends on the light, that helps with taking out the eyes color, that's what i did with mines, and the light gray blue eyes with central green heterchromia came out, and also that checks out since we are in a mostly white dominated space, if you want to know your true eye color i would suggest you to take a close up photo with the flash aimed at your eye, then you develop the photo enough so the main colors are visible and then you use a color picker to classify the color of your eyes, that's what i did, then with Google i searched for folks with eyes like mine, and that's how i found out about my eyes

No, I know that I have gray eyes, I'm just saying that my gray eyes not so clear like my father, which makes me a little bit sad
