My girlfriend kinda asked if I wanted to see her psycho side last night, which lead to us having some slightly 'nc' CNC. Yeah I think it's easy for guys to say they want a woman that pursues/obsesses them etc but depending on the woman it can often get more intense than what most guys can handle, or they get uncomfortable with it or they take it for granted etc

I mean.. at least from my perspective and what I've noticed, guys aren't really concerned with the fact that girls are attracted with them or not. They don't prefer partners based on "is she attracted to me" they choose it based on "am I attracted to them/are they attractive"

I think your perspective is reasonable. I have heard people in my circles say things that are simillar too it's not uncommon to observe something like that happening.

But yeah not just that the stalker is traditionally attractive but I also don't think most people have a clue about what stalking actually entails and tend to romanticise it a bit. I think it's because we all want to feel appreciated so the idea of someone being obsessively into you is a nice fantasy.

But even then I don't really have that much of a bleak outlook on it, There are shitty people sure but there are also so many cool and amazing people. It's just about finding them which is the hard part, also filtering people. But again I am a man who dates women and not a woman who dates men so idk what it really is like.

I guess it all depends on your overall outlook and experiences. I've personally had only horrible experiences dating so I'm not really the most enthusiastic in regards to that subject. I do believe there's someone out there for everyone but the problem is that there are also other 8 billion people that aren't for you. Again, I've personally almost completely given up on dating but I understand why most people like it/still have hope in it.

It's true crime content, I know it's a bit unusual to consume that kinda stuff but I'm studying to become a criminal lawyer so it's kinda helpful ironically.

Yeah I can get that, honestly with my overall life philosophy I don't allow myself to be too cynical either. I know what type of person I am and what I want out of my life. People get burnt looking for relationships and as a consequence they tend to shun fire and almost deny themselves the warmth and intimacy it can also bring. I can't get close to someone without my shield up. I still remain vigilant and I do have clear cut standards about what I tolerate. I am not saying this is the case for you, just something I have noticed in others who clearly crave romance but gaslight themselves into thinking they don't need it as a way to protect themselves from getting hurt again or taking the risks. And just to add I have had bad experiences but not bad enough as to make me consider dropping this "life philosophy" of mine. I get people who are like that because they have had stronger experiences than what I have had.

Ah yeah right! I have not heard people shorten it to TTC before. I don't think it's unusual since nearly all the women I know consume it to some extent, but maybe that speaks more about the women I surround myself with lol.

yea, im not sure why it's so popular ith women. I do know however a lot of truecrime in america tends to leave out facts to make black criminals look better, especially that whole "innocence project" group.

Hard to say. One I often hear is that it's because then they can learn the patterns that serial killers use so they can stay safe. Obviously LatinaofHearts and those interested in law consume it partly because it can be helpful in a learning sense.
