As a contributor, do you let admins/viewers judge or do you trust your gut?

Now this isnt something i expect to go for longer than one page but i wanted to get my bearings.

So i got contributor *today* and i only noticed i had no upload limits but i then noticed that little button next to the upload button that quite literally lets me upload without approval.

I get that getting the contributor role is basically the mods going "yeah your edits are normally pretty good so have at it without limits" but im sure one of use contributors has thought that, maybe they uploaded a edit thats not up to par while skipping the que.

So my question is that: do you trust your gut with your own edits? Or do you prefer to leave it to viewer/admin view? Im personally thinking about leaving it half and half myself, directly upload the ones i have the most faith in etc etc

What's your take?

I mean, I think that if I put something out that was shit enough, somebody would tell me. At least that's my expectation.

my opinion is the best and correct so I'm good. Though if an edit doesn't break like 30 likes I get sad and kill myself.
