Tagging Guidelines and Help

This serves as a general thread for assisting users in knowing how to tag posts properly. Please view the "help:tags" wiki page for more help on this matter.

Taking a moment to also bring to attention a particular issue: Please do not use rule34.xxx tags outside of the permissible instances noted in the wiki. Rule34.xxx's tags are horrifically inconsistent, so when it comes to copying tags from posts to tag your edits and such please use only the danbooru/gelbooru tags of the post in question, thank you.

Could someone explain to me how exactly do you make a tag implicate another?

I'm trying to make it so gen:flipping off implicates gen:middle finger (IMO they're the same thing but worded differently) but I'm too retarded to know how to do it.

Since Ritsu Tainaka has a japanese name, would the proper tag be tainaka_ritsu ? I noticed a few posts using the opposite tagging ritsu_tainaka and wanted to correct it, but just wanted to make sure I was reading it correctly.
