How many Childreen do you want and how many do you think youre gonna get?

Simple question, how many kdis do you want?

Also, not just how many you want but also how many you think you will get.
Like, with your future financial situation, freetime, etc.

I'll start:

I wanna get 2-4 children. Atleast 2 because Only-children can get lonely (coming from a onlychild). 4 is max because this is my mental limit.

Realistically, i would get 1, 2 or 3 children. I already spoke with my gf about it. Because of our bad mental health in the past, she (for now) feels comfortable raising a child. If we get our lifes running normaly (we both are studying) she maybe wants 2.
Realistically with our financial situation, we could get 4. I work in IT and she in Handwork. I'm also gonna take over my dads company that he was working on alone and run it myself. It's a pretty normal situation with the economy in switzerland in the moment. Financially im alright.

On the other hand, the housing market is especially fucked in switzerland. Buildings are getting build and planned left in right but the population is growing even faster. So this would be a problem. 2 Child could be doable.

My Gf's and mine mental health is pretty good atm but in the past it was really bad. She had a eating disorder combined with depression while i had depression myself and still suffer from dissasociation disorder. We are better now as our love gave us the strenght to pick ourselves up and working on ourselves. I still suffer from disassociation disorder but im living with it comfortably. It's not impacting my work nor my private life.

2 children are defenetly doable, 4 possible.
The only thing left is religion, with her being orthodox and me roman catholic, we don't know how were gonna raise our children. The favour is on my side tho as im more religious and she is more chill about it.

Well, it would be a topic that I would talk about with my husband (obviously white) Personally I want at least 2 but if he wants more I would be a good wife and give them to him.

For me, personally, I think 2 would be good because I'm just not that financially well off, but at the same time, I get such an intense case of Baby Fever after my periods so like, I think I'd probably end up with a LOT more.
