I've written a looooot of alternate history so yes.

I also love history, especially our history is very long and full of colonisation by other races

I am a really hardcore history buff. My main focuses are southa africa, middle eastern, european and east-asian history. Year range mostly from 1700s-2000s

There's a lot of history themed YT channels out there. Historia Civilis was my favourite until he started posting once every 6 months and I found out he was a commie shill. Recentily, I've watched videos about Marius and Sulla (the precursors of Caesar), the siege of Malta by the Ottomans and watched for the second time a video dedicated to the life of Aurelian (can never find enough time for the Restorer of the World).

I'm a historian, mostly focusing on early 20th century, but I know a fair bit about british history in general, like how britain went to the tremendous effort and expense of ending slavery for good, though it's worth noting america did play some part in the blockade of west africa, which was hindered by a lot of the slavers using southern ports of registry for their ships
