I think it's because they think muscular=manly (I got news for them), I'm not very familiar with this trope but if they think it's because they have muscles, they think that it changes their reproductive system functions (unless they are taking testosterone or steroids) or how it works...News flash, if the girl doesn't take T or steroid, her pussy still works! It probably has something to do with NTR hentai and anime with cheating elements becoming popular and adultery becoming glorified+romanticized.
