Why do People in Hentai Community like ERP so much?

To each their own and all that, I don't have that much of an issue with ERP as a concept, but dear lord is it somewhat irritating when the only comments on a picture I see are just a dozen different ERP accounts.

It's worse when it's accounts that clearly just sort by tag and have some kind of script making the same fucking comment on every new image with that tag. I don't see it as much here, and it's not like I'm expecting thrilling conversation on a porn/hentai site, but come on.

It's the most infuriating when there's a pic with no artist signature, no artist tag, and I go to the comments to see if anyone mentioned- whoops it's only about twenty different people ERP-ing in the comments, and no hints as to who made the image.

For me it's the appreciation fact, when i was little i was never appreaciated for who or what i was, got the whole mile of bad stuff, but in more recent years i found spaces like this who can appreciated persons like me, being a subject of uncondtional love and desire is a massive confidence boost for me who got starved out for appreciation, and playing the scenarions with a character that's so close to what and who i am, it just feels good, intoxicating, it's truly something that to fully understand you need to undergo appreciation starving for the start of your life.

It's still me, cause i make the character after my traits (White skin, blonde hairs, grey eyes that can look blue) besides, i'm not interested and i am not an ideal partner for a potential GF, so i satisfy my needs and let the training i do give me the satisfaction i need, and when i am horny, i just hit the ERP, like i said, different folks, different situations, being aware of your situation and doing your best with what you are given is the best course of action at the end of the day

I get that if you are like ERPing with your gf or a girl you like, but my question was more because i see most people into erp do so with random strangers they have zero idea of, and many times dont even care if it's just another dude, as long as they erp as a girl.

I don't think you're talking about ERP. I think what you're describing is just chatting with a woman on sexual topics or, if you take it a step further, e-dating.

To me ERP is taking a role, making a story, a setting. Not a lot of people do that, yet we broadly call it ERP when in reality it's closer to sexting and flirting. Still, good on you for trying to learn more about women and deconstruct all the BS you might have learned elsewhere. Of course nothing beats the real thing if you want to learn
