Anytime a post comes into the queue we all flip a coin to see what it lands on. If it's heads we approve if it's tails we mark it as breaking the rules. Lately we've been getting a lot of tails. We can't afford another quarter though so we just use a penny we found in the sofa cushions.
In all reality the standards have never changed. (((We))) just move slow

So we can monitor the site regardless of timezones. We do other things than just look in the mod queue for pending uploads. It also helps cut out personal biases because shocker, we are in fact human and not immune to those. A post I might dislike might get approved by another mod and vice versa.
Plenty of content comes through the pending uploads so if none of yours don't when there's up to 7 individual pairs of eyes looking at it over the course of a 3 day wait period, there might be an uncomfortable truth you need to accept about the quality of the stuff you post.

Guess it's uncomfortable to accept I have a full-time job, fulfilling social life, am in a loving relationship, maintain plenty of hobbies outside of all this and I STILL run laps around your peak as an editor. Also i just wanted to expand on the mod part. I don't think all mods on here are bad, or all the admins are bad. I just really think that some mods or admins are just being plain retarded.
